The 52nd National Skills Competition will be launched on July 31 by 975 skilled Competitors, overcoming all the hurdles amid the global health crisis to go to plan.
This Competition rolls out the street-style theme song "One Skill to Win or Lose", to highlight the young Competitors' passion at the moment of the competition, as well as their aspiration for the gold medals.
This year the event brings together 139 junior Competitors in 12 skills (July 31-August 2), and 836 Competitors in 56 skills (August 3-August 7). Each skill’s top 3 Competitors will have the opportunity to represent Taiwan in the WorldSkills Asia Competition 2023 and the WorldSkills Competition 2024 to showcase their excellence skills.
In the meantime, visitors must make an appointment in advance to take a trip to the venue in the hope to limit the footprints. To offer the public and young students a pleasant experience, some approaches are orchestrated, including live tour guide, online career exploration experience and virtual exhibition hall, interactive game, awards highlights, and the online exhibition of gold-medal works, etc.
