Road to the WorldSkills Competition
  1. Regional Skills Competition
    The Regional Skills Competitions annually take place in north, central, south of Taiwan, respectively held by Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Regional Branch of the Workforce Development Agency, Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Regional Branch of the Workforce Development Agency, and Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Regional Branch of the Workforce Development Agency. With age less than 21 years old but the skills of Manufacturing Team Challenge, Landscape Gardening, and Mobile Robotics under 25, about 3,000 competitors compete for medals, top 5 of each skill eligible to advance to the National Skills Competition.

  2. National Skills Competition
    The National Skills Competition takes place each year, hosted by Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Regional Branch of the Workforce Development Agency. About 800 competitors compete for medals. Worth to mention is, as the year prior to the WorldSkills Competition year, top 3 of each skill in the National Skills Competition are entitled to move ahead to National Team Selection, whose winners will represent Chinese Taipei going to the WorldSkills Competition next year.

  3. National Team Selection
    Chinese Taipei National Team Selection is held in the year prior to the WorldSkills Competition year, hosted by Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Regional Branch of the Workforce Development Agency. To pick out the best competitors to well represent Chinese Taipei vying for the WorldSkills Competition, marking of both this Selection and the National Skills Competition will be all considered.
