Chinese Taipei Won 6 Gold, 13 Silver and 6 Bronze at the 2022 WorldSkills Competition

Chinese Taipei took part in 50 Skills in the WorldSkills Competition and yielded great results of 6 Gold, 13 Silver, 6 Bronze and 17 Medallion of Excellence. With over 57 countries competing in the competition, we are ranked third in the world and set the best record in history. We are proud to say under all difficult circumstances national competitors continued their training with perseverance and are the heroes of Taiwan.

 

The 6 Skills that won Gold are Automobile Technology, Manufacturing Team Challenge, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Prototype Modelling, Joinery and Electrical Installations. One of three Gold Medalist of Manufacturing Team Challenge Chang Chien Hsiung was invited to take the Competitor’s Oath in Wrexham, United Kingdom and spoke in Taiwanese, which received huge appraisals and sparked discussions in Taiwan. The Ministry of Labor will host an Award Ceremony in Grand Hyatt Taipei in celebration of the great achievement the competitors had completed.
