Chinese Taipei Pocketed 5 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze in WorldSkills Asia Competition

As the first-time WorldSkills Asia Competition wrapped up, Chinese Taipei won 13 medals, 5 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze, in 16 senior and junior skills of participation. 

 

This Competition, hold on Nov. 27~29 and hosted by Abu Dhabi, brings together more than 200 Competitors from 19 countries to go for total 23 skills medals, with 17 senior skills and 6 junior skills. These countries includes UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Indonesia, Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Finland, Brazil, U.S.A., Egypt, Palestine, Germany, and Chinese Taipei. After 3 day competition, Chinese Taipei totally won 13 medals. Among that 13 medals, the skills of Plastering and Drywall Systems, Painting and Decorating, Mobile Robotics, Junior skills- IT Software Solutions for Business, Electrical Installations won gold medals. In addition, IT Software Solutions for Business, Electrical Installations, Car Painting, Junior skills- Mobile Robotics and Floristry got Silver medals. As well as Welding, Junior skills- Web Design and Graphic Design Technology earned bronze medals.

 

We are glad to see Chinese Taipei have such a nice performance in the WorldSkills Asia Competition. This gets off to a good start. We are also more anticipated that Chinese Taipei will do well in next year's WorldSkills Competition in Kazan.
