Mr. Wen-Tsung Chen to Serve as Chief Expert of WorldSkills Africa 2020

WorldSkills International has named Mr. Wen-Tsung Chen as Chief Expert in the skill of Restaurant Service, one of WSI Expert for WorldSkills Africa 2020.

 

2020 is an exciting year for skills development in Africa. This year, WorldSkills International will organize a series of capacity building programs in support of WorldSkills Africa 2020 in Swakopmund, Namibia. WorldSkills Africa 2020 is scheduled to take place from October 25 to October 21, bringing together more than 150 Competitors from 12 African countries to participate in 16 skills. And WorldSkills International anticipates to help enhance Africa's skill development though those programs. 

 

Mr. Chen has been served as Chief Expert of TW National Skills Competition since 2002 and Expert of WorldSkills Competition starting 2005. He is now an associate professor in the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, a prestigious institute on the restaurant fields in Taiwan. In combination of theory and experience accumulated for many years, he has successfully nourished many excellent Competitors shining on the global stage, including Silver medal winner in 2017.
